We are a bunch of Living History enthusiasts from Poland, who one day decided to participate in portraying the seamen of British Royal Navy of the Napoleonic Wars period. Our focus, as the name suggests, is all around the infamous HMS Dauntless, an 18-gun sloop-of-war of the Combatant class, which operated on the Baltic sea around 1804-1807 until it's tragic defeat in a blockade run attempt on Vistula River, during the siege of Danzig.
This site is a sort of a chronicle of our exploits. Hopefully it will feature some articles, galleries and other resources, that should prove useful both to us and our visitors. In the „Crew” section we've put information about our current crew members, their specific roles etc. The „Articles” section features some works on various aspects of our reenactment hobby, like period appropriate clothes, food, sailor's duties, historical events and many more. In the „Recruitment” section we answer questions about joining our jolly company. As well as that, we'd like to invite you to our Forum, where we share the knowledge of the period and discuss various subjects, like organizing meetings and reenactment gigs. If you want to ask about more details – feel free to use our Contact sub-page.
Feel free to look around, I hope you will find our site interesting, enjoy your stay!
